It's the first time she's ever been so upset in the bathtub, she swallowed water and was hysterical. I still wanted to believe it was a good device so I emptied the tub a little more and had her sit with it on...it got in the way of bathing, felt bulky and really didn't do much for her safety at all. I think a simple ring float would do the same job and cost much less. The Papillon is filled with styrofoam balls which stink like chemicals and it just feels cheaply made, plus it took an eternity to dry all the way through. I don't usually write reviews that are bad, but I really, really disliked this product and am mailing it back. Our daughter has used it from the time she could sit-up and with a little practice and supervision (of course!), she can play in the tub for long periods of time on her own while we watch.
