I purchased this stool 6 weeks into breastfeeding my son. I was having all sorts of trouble feeding him and lots of back pain. I was on the verge of giving up! I went to see a lactation consultant, and she had this stool in her office. Sitting in front of her with my feet up on the stool, I was able to feed him without trouble (she hardly had to "consult"). Once I had this stool at home, things started falling in place.
Additionally, this stool has proven useful just as a stool, so your investment will last far longer than during nursing. My mom likes to put her feet up on it when she's simply holding my son.
I also want to remark that Medela stands by their product. We discovered that one of the legs on the stool cracked (we think when someone tripped on it during a late-night feeding). I called Medela, and they replaced it immediately.

I purchased this footstool about two weeks after I gave birth to my first child. Up until then, I had been using a flat footstool during nursing, but I was really unhappy with it. I couldn't seem to get into a comfortable position! When this stool arrived, all of that changed. Having your feet at a natural, 90-degree angle to your legs makes all the difference in the world! I was much happier with this footstool, and I know you will be, too!
The stool is exceptionally well made and hardy -- my oldest child is now ten, my youngest is four, and the footstool is still around! My son likes to keep the stool in his room to jump off of ("Superman!") and it has stood up to all of his abuse.
All in all, an excellent product -- well made, and really does the job! I can't recommend it highly enough.

I got this as a gift just before my second child was born. I can't believe what a difference it makes in the ease and comfort of nursing. It makes any chair the perfect nursing chair!! Once you try it, you'll never want to nurse without it!!

Im assumminng that the 2 pack refers to the pillow case that comes with the pillow. There was only one pillow in the bag and it wasnt a great one. The pillow loses shape as soon as you lay on it. something that you would imagine to find in a disount store and pay $10 for. I was very disappointed the quality. The only reason it wasnt returned was because it had gotten stained the first night from dye in my hair. I wouldnt suggest this pillow to a pregnant mouse..... Horrid not worth the money in shipping or the 40 bucks to buy it......

There is only one pillow, which is unfortunate because you would have to stack at least three of these together to get something that resembles support. The wedge portion is laughable because the entire pillow compresses to about 1" in thickness. I spent the night tossing and turning, fantasizing about buying a sewing machine, making my own pillow and actually putting some stuffing in it. I had heard such good things about the brand and am shocked that this is what they would put out there for a body pillow.

Unfortunately, My Brest Friend 2 Pack 3-In 1 Body Pillow did not help me sleep on my side. It was not large enough to prevent me from flipping on to my back.

I love this support pillow... i am a back sleeper and it has made sleeping much easier for me bc even if i turn on my back, the wedge is there to keep me off of it. it isn't bulky too which was a huge plus! definitely would recommend!

I ordered this pillow thinking it would give me extra back support. It is way smaller than I thought it would be and not very supportive. If it was meant to be used while lying on your side it doesn't really do that well either. It's very tiny and flimsy.
