Not only is it very easy to wear and extremely comfortable, it is also audible only to the baby. I was worried that people around me would wonder about the sound coming from my mid-section, but no worries...you literraly have to have someone stick their head against your tummy to hear it. I keep having my hubby check to make sure that it is still playing to the baby. Also, I cannot emphasize enough how comfortable it is. The material is heavenly against your belly. It's very soft and stretchy and the little pocket works out quite well for an ipod. I have been wearing it to work and you can't even tell, especially under maternity pants. We made a child safe playlist which included ocean sounds, Pachabels Cannon in D, kid songs and other nature sounds. She would almost "dance" in my belly! Now, she loves music! I wanted to play classical music to my baby in womb to raise his IQ:) I don't know if this is why, but my 6-month old has been fascinated with music since birth. He will stop everything - crying, tantrum, talking/babbling when music, especially classical comes on. Also, he immediately recognized the Debussey music that I always played him on the Sound Beginning. Not sure if this is why, but it worked for us! |
