I had settled on the "Brest Friend", but found it so difficult to put it on every time with a screaming hungry baby in one hand. Then I went to see a lactation consultant and she showed me this pillow. It is firm, tall (at least 6") and flat across, but curved on the side to facilitate a closer fit. I do wish it had the little head-rest bumps like the Brest Friend, but I've taken to using a blanket for that and that works just fine. It would probably work for the football/clutch hold, but I don't nurse that way. |
