I did a lot of searching to find the right cover for the pillow, and this one is perfect. One side is a super soft chenille-like fabric in a pastel green. The other side is an adorable dot pattern that is not too "baby" and a bit more modern, which I love. The cotton side is still soft but not as soft as the other side. The pillow is washer and dryer friendly, which is very important for anything you're using for babies. I do use this cover with a waterproof Boppy cover as well to protect the pillow. They don't truly protect your Boppy. They aren't waterproof and so spitup and any spillage will seep through to your Boppy, so you'll need to be creative to protect it (which translates into more work on your end). But, the soft underbelly of this product will feel pleasant against your skin and the skin of your baby, so that is a plus. Like I said, it's pretty (it went so wonderfully with our nursery and the `theme' we chose for all things baby with our first daughter) but it isn't particularly useful. Oh well, sometimes `pretty' is all your looking for, and this particular design is a tad cheaper than most the others available.
