Let me tell you, this was a life-saver for me. The pillow is eco-friendly, made of an eco-fiber pillow (NOT foam!), so no nasty fire-retardant chemicals are used. Then it has this beautiful soft plush fabric cover AND a built-in nursing cover up. So I was able to nurse without ANYONE seeing my skin OR my baby. Even after I nursed, my baby fell asleep underneath the cover - which blocked out noise and overhead lighting. Once home, I used the TWIN pillow (called San Diego Bebe TWIN that I received as a baby shower gift) which allows me to nurse TWO babies at once! PLUS the TWIN pillow also has the same cool nursing cover up attached right to the pillow cover, so if I'm nursing and someone comes in the room or if I'm at a park with my other kids, I can easily have discretion when I want it. The cover is attached by velcro - not a zipper. I would think over time this would be a pain to put back on after washing. In addition, the cover only provides privacy from the front. My whole breast is exposed from any other angle. There is not enough coverage on the side.The pillow is soft, and a good idea - just not well developed. Don't waste your money. |
