Whereas for the Boppy Pillow several high quality casing options are available, few are available for the Brest friend. I own the deluxe model of the Brest Friend pillow, which came with a soft polyester slipcover which has good construction and ease of use, but unfortunately can worsen skin allergies. I purchased this cotton slipcover for two reasons: (1) I noticed that with consistent use of my polyester cover I was getting bad eczema and itching on my arms and (2) as a backup cover for when my "deluxe" cover is in the wash. I agree with the reviews that have already been written about this cover (I purchased the "Bluebells" cover on sale). After a single wash according to manufacturers instruction (warm wash and hang dry), the dyes have completely faded in this cover, it looks like it is old and dusty, and wherever the cover wrinkled in the wash there is... Love the soft print that was not as loud as the original cover. I also used the slipcover on my Boppy. This involved a bit of forceful stuffing but I like the curviness of the boppy (kept my baby in position) and the security of the waist band. While used on My Brest Friend I had to roll up a little towel to keep my little one in position. I've washed the slipcover many times and it's still intact.
